The Generation-Engineering purchasing area covers «core business» purchases on behalf of production units (nuclear, thermal, hydraulic and windmills and related engineering services).
Operating purchases are made by the EDF purchasing agencies.
EDF procurement Breakdown:
- 50% on operation/maintenance/spare parts for the 58 nuclear units.
- 40% on new equipment and renovations/modifications/dismantling of nuclear installations.
- 10% on engineering and the operation/maintenance of thermal and hydraulic power stations.
